Hi there! We're Kristi and Claire, Co-Founders of Southern Strings and we're so happy you're here! Southern Strings is a network of professional string musicians who perform for weddings and special events throughout the South. We offer string duos, trios, and quartets, and our goal is to make having live music feel really easy and personal. Our musicians perform in symphonies, are highly sought after, and have extensive training to make your special day shine even more :) We have a repertoire list of over 1300 songs with everything from classical music and wedding favorites to pop, country, movie music, hymns, and modern songs, so couples can really make the music feel like them. For weddings, we can play the prelude as guests arrive, all of the important ceremony moments, and continue into cocktail hour or the reception. We handle the details behind the scenes, from helping choose the right ensemble and songs to coordinating with the venue or planner and making sure our musicians have everything they need. We want couples to be able to enjoy the experience of having beautiful live music without having to worry about managing all the logistics themselves.

- Duo Ceremony Package
Our acoustic Duo Ceremony Package consists of violin and cello and is recommended when there are less than 100 guests. This includes 30 minutes of prelude music and up to 30 minutes of ceremony music coverage for all entrances, any special ceremony moments, and a grand exit. Cocktail Hour is only $350 when added on to the Ceremony! We have a set prelude and cocktail hour setlist, but we are more than happy to use your requests from our music library.
$900 - Duo Ceremony + Duo Cocktail Hour
Our acoustic Duo Ceremony + Cocktail Hour Package consists of violin and cello and is recommended when there are less than 100 guests. This includes 30 minutes of prelude music and up to 30 minutes of ceremony music coverage for all entrances, any special ceremony moments, and a grand exit. Cocktail Hour is only $350 when immediately following the Ceremony! We have a set prelude and cocktail hour setlist, but we are more than happy to use your requests from our music library. Please reach out if your cocktail hour location is different than the ceremony site, as a travel fee may apply.

We also recommend a Quartet for song requests from movies, orchestral pieces, classical music, or songs that have piano in the original, as a quartet will sound the closest the original songs we all love! This package includes 30 minutes of prelude music and up to 30 minutes of ceremony music coverage for all entrances, any special ceremony moments, and a grand exit. Cocktail Hour is only +$550 when added on to the Ceremony! We have a set prelude and cocktail hour setlist, but we are more than happy to use your requests from our music library.
