Kinkead Performance & Events is an event management firm. We don’t just help you plan a wedding—we manage the hundreds of moving pieces that allow you to actually experience it. Most couples spend months planning their wedding. The last thing they should have to do is spend the day making decisions, answering vendor questions, watching the clock, or worrying about whether everything is happening when it’s supposed to. That’s where we come in. Whether you hire us for full planning, partial planning, day-of management, DJ services, officiating, décor, or one of our all-inclusive combinations, our job is always the same: We protect your peace while managing the details. We’re the people making sure vendors know where to be, family members know what they’re doing, timelines stay on track, problems get solved before you ever know they existed, and your vision is carried out the way you imagined it—not the way someone else thinks it should be. One thing that makes us different is that we don’t believe weddings should feel like a collection of separate vendors all working independently. We believe they should feel like one team. That’s why collaboration is such a huge part of how we operate. We communicate with your vendors before the wedding, coordinate logistics together, share layouts and timelines, and create an environment where everyone can do their best work. When vendors work together, couples feel the difference. We also believe experience matters. After producing well over a hundred weddings every year, we’ve learned that beautiful events don’t happen because everything goes perfectly. They happen because someone knows how to adapt when they don’t. We’ve earned that experience one wedding at a time. At the end of the day, our success isn’t measured by how many events we book or how impressive the photos look on social media. It’s measured by something much simpler: Did you get to be fully present on one of the most important days of your life?

We actually do more than just DJ—we host your wedding as your emcees. We run your timeline as smoothly as possible and we guide your guests to how their day is supposed to go as well with you all. We take your day of timeline and make a music timeline from it where we add the specific songs and announcements in to make sure everything goes like you want it to. We also include pre-ceremony music, two set ups if necessary for the ceremony and reception, customized playlists for the ceremony & reception, a call to go over everything for the ceremony and reception, set up and break down times and helping keep the crowd engaged the entire time. Plus, dance floor lighting if you want it! We charge $999 for the first four hours and $150/hour after that. We don’t charge for set up or break down time. Paid time starts with the scheduled ceremony time. And we play what you want us to. We love to take requests if that’s what you want us to do. The bottom line is that it’s your day and we will do what you want. We are very couple centric 🖤
